A dry and somewhat gravely voice sounds, as you open the dossier on the infamous mercenary group, Nightmare.

"You probably have questions. Everyone does. That's why you're here, isn't it? Well I'll answer some of them, before you begin to read what little information The Federation has on us, speculation though it might be. Might help you understand what you're getting into."

"Nightmare is the name we were given, not because of our appearances, and not because of our weapons. It's because of our tactics and dedication. We do not yield. We show no mercy. We do not stop, until our contract is complete."

"There are four of us. I won't tell you who each of us are, you'll find that out on your own, won't you? Either because we were sent to hunt you, or because you've got a job that nobody else can handle."

"Speaking of jobs, I'll begin with what you can do to catch our interest. Information is priceless. If you have information worth selling for our services, we'll listen. If it's something we're looking for, we'll find you ourselves, you don't need to worry about finding us."

"Now go ahead. Read on. I can't garuntee you'll find what you're looking for. But what's here is yours to look through. Just know, that you have already been brought under our watch. So keep an eye on the shadows."

The voice has ceased, as it has nothing else to say on the matter.

The first member and leader of of the infamous squad, Nightmare, Crown is respected and obeyed by his peers. But Nightmare functions differently than other squads. Rather than relaying orders, the squad shares information and acts accordingly on a situational basis. They're all equals, and aren't bound by a chain of command.

Not much is known about the man himself, not even his name. He hides his face behind his helmet, and uses that dark mystery to his advantage.. both inside and out of combat.

The second member and next highest ranking under Crown, Blue is the team's sniper. He stays high above everything, presumably relaying information about the area, and the movements of targets, and taking out what might pose threats to the team.

It seems likely that he was an elite sniper before he joined Nightmare, but nothing is clear.

A silent warrior using long-lost arts of combat to utterly overwhelm and destroy his foes. Not much more than an enigma, virtually no data exists on this individual. Even the members of Nightmare don't speak his name, they simply call him 'Butcher'. But he is incredibly well trained, and he handles his swords as if they were a part of him. He often uses his surroundings as a weapon in itself, and it's often deomstrated on the field that he CAN indeed cut or deflect bullets out of the air in mind-flight.

Known as 'The Reaper', this member of Nightmare is just as mysterious as the rest, despite the armor's striking appearance. It's likely the nickname was aquired due to the skull carved onto the front of the helmet.

Apparently a woman, but don't let that make you think any less of her. She's been seen many times throwing things many times heavier than herself at Nightmare's enemies. It's speculated that she may have been a part of a supersoldier program.
