Samuel Vanderez

Bio:   Samuel lost his parents when he was about fifteen.  It wasn't anything special, and he doesn't seek revenge.  Why?  Because they died in a car crash when a drunk driver wasn't paying attention, and crashed into his parents.  Neither his parents, nor the drunk driver survived.  Since then, he's been left on his own to fend for himself.

But he's been doing well.  He managed to secure a well-paying job as a programmer for one of the more prominent industries.  This only happened because they saw how adept he was with code, despite his age.  He doesn't handle security or anything due to his school schedule, but he does handle miscelanious jobs involving code, especially debugging.

But when he isn't working, he's usually playing a game.  What kind of game?  VRMMO's.  He rather enjoys the genre, and the feeling of escape it gives him.  It's a great way to get away from the normalcy of life, and be something... different.  Not nessicarily something he's not, but where he could be something he wanted to be.

To any other high school student, Samuel doesn't seem any different from them.  He doesn't act traumatized, and he really isn't.  He's a bit on the short side for a guy, standing at about 5'-4".  This caused him a great deal of trouble in the past, as he was bullied for being smaller.  Nowdays, nobody even considers it, because althrough he's short, he's a great deal stronger than someone his size usually is.  Or even someone bigger than him.  His uniform usually hides those muscles pretty well though, so he never really appears intimidating.

While in the game world, however, he seems almost an entirely different person.  His personality doesn't change, obviously, but the way he reacts does, depending on the situation.  He tends to be far mor outgoing and aggressive, and at the same time, helpful.  He's well known in some of the games he plays as being a high level teacher of sorts.  He's always willing to teach new players how the game they find themselves in works for some ammount of time, or just help them with any problems they might be having.
